Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joey Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cormac Gutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow comes to the cage accompanied by country roads. Gutz has chosen Everyday as his entrance music. Joey Snow has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cormac Gutz! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Gutz finds it's way through Snow's defenses. Good shot there by Gutz. Gutz moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Nice cross by Gutz. Snow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gutz pinned against the cage. Gutz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Snow shoots in for a takedown but Gutz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Snow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gutz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Snow. That's going to take a lot out of him. An inside leg kick lands from Gutz. Gutz blocks a head kick by Snow.

Gutz lands with an uppercut that bounces Snow off the cage and back into range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gutz doesn't manage to clinch there - Snow circles away.

Gutz tests Snow's chin there with a solid looking shot. Gutz lands a leg kick that knocks Snow off balance momentarily. No luck for Snow with that takedown attempt. Snow jabbing away but nothing is landing. Snow throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Gutz is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gutz cracks Snow with a good jab.

Gutz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Snow has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Snow crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gutz - the referee stops the clock and Snow gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gutz. Snow manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gutz closes the distance and clinches. Gutz stalls. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Snow. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Gutz manages to break the clinch.
Gutz is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Snow had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gutz lands with a kick to the temple. Snow shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A shot to the liver by Gutz. Beautiful body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cormac Gutz dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gutz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Snow. Snow circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Gutz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Snow at a distance.
Gutz uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Gutz's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gutz duly obliges. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Snow tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A jab from Gutz finds it's way through Snow's defenses. Gutz explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Snow takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Snow takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gutz moves into the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Gutz - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Snow closes the distance and clinches up with Gutz, looking for a takedown. Snow pushes Gutz against the cage but Gutz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gutz works Snow's body with a nice hook. Gutz forces Snow back against the cage and clinches. Snow will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Gutz breaks the clinch.
Gutz cracks the inside of Snow's front leg. Gutz fakes the leg kick and cracks Snow in the body. Snow shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gutz as he avoids it easily. Gutz scores with a hook to the body. Snow takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Snow gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gutz. A solid leg kick lands there for Gutz.
Gutz has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Snow takes a head kick and keeps coming.

That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. An inside leg kick lands from Gutz. Snow tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Gutz lands a nice shot to the body.
Snow is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Snow shoots in but Gutz avoids the takedown attempt easily. Snow looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Gutz feints and then cracks Snow's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snow down. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nice body punch from Gutz.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gutz drops Snow with a beautiful combination! Snow stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gutz is looking for the KO! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A solid leg kick lands there for Gutz.
