Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Speedy Atkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apo Abukay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atkins comes to the cage accompanied by the balled of speedy atkins. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Speedy Atkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Apo Abukay! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abukay changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Atkins tries to avoid it but Abukay manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Atkins to the ground. Atkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Atkins doesn't manage to clinch there - Abukay circles away.
Atkins pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Abukay back to the cage. Atkins follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Apo Abukay has been cut. Atkins gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Atkins wants to stall.
Atkins missing with knees to the body.
Atkins blocks a body shot from Abukay. Atkins lands a body shot in the clinch.
Atkins drags the fight down to the ground.
Abukay looking to pass the guard. Abukay slips nicely into half guard. Abukay is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Atkins is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abukay working away from the top, dropping strikes. Atkins sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Atkins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Abukay lands a nice short elbow. Atkins looking for submissions off his back. Abukay lands with a punch from half guard. Abukay has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Atkins tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Abukay has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Atkins is trying to escape the mount but Abukay keeps good control and instead manages to take Atkins's back.
Abukay has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Atkins is defending well but eventually Abukay manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Atkins has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Apo Abukay! In his post fight interview, Apo Abukay gave a big smile as he said 'did you crack my teeth men? I guess not hehehe'.
