Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tim Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BJ Ferguson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Duncan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJ Ferguson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duncan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ferguson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ferguson is looking to clinch but Duncan is avoiding it.
Duncan avoids the body shot from Ferguson.
Duncan wants to clinch up but Ferguson keeps it at a distance. Duncan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ferguson did well to prevent Duncan getting side control. Ferguson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Duncan tries to pass to full mount but Ferguson defends it. Duncan prevents Ferguson from improving his position. Ferguson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Duncan. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ferguson manages to get to full guard.
Duncan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan passes easily into side control. Nice work. Duncan trying to control the position but Ferguson is working away. Ferguson can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ferguson is looking to regain half guard here but Duncan keeps moving and retains side control. Ferguson dodges the ground and pound from Duncan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duncan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ferguson to his feet. A head kick by Ferguson misses and Duncan counters with a head kick. That will keep Ferguson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ferguson is defended easily by Duncan. Ferguson pushes Duncan away with a front kick. Duncan looks for a takedown but Ferguson sprawls well. Ferguson misses with the body kick and Duncan counters with a body kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ferguson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Duncan circles away. Duncan misses with a series of wild punches.
Duncan takes the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Ferguson lands a takedown into guard.
Ferguson tries to free his leg and advance position but Duncan is retaining full guard. Ferguson trying to control the position from guard on top but Duncan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Duncan pushes Ferguson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Ferguson tries to clinch there but Duncan circles away.
Duncan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ferguson shoots and misses and Duncan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ferguson's guard now.
Ferguson is rocked! Tim Duncan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Ferguson. Ferguson looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duncan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ferguson's head. Ferguson is still in real trouble! Can Duncan finish him? Duncan's corner is telling him to maintain position. Duncan drops back looking for a leg! Ferguson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ferguson manages to kick Duncan off! Duncan jumps back into Ferguson's guard. Ferguson has momentary wrist control but Duncan slips an elbow through the middle. Duncan stands up from guard. Let's bang! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Duncan engages and cracks Ferguson with a massive lead left hook - Ferguson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Duncan is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tim Duncan!
