Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chay Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeo Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray comes to the cage accompanied by super cold. Chay Ray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chay Ray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeo Warren! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Warren. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Warren is staying tight to Ray's torso, preventing him from escaping. Warren goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ray has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Warren but great work by Ray. Ray in side control, just content to control the action for now. Warren tries to buck Ray off but Ray is having none of it. Ray really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Warren tries to escape but Ray is in control. Ray is looking to take a break and control but Warren is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Warren's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Warren is trying to control Ray's posture but Ray avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warren sneaks back into half guard. Warren tries to get to full guard but Ray has control of the leg. Ray wants to lay and pray for a moment but Warren keeps working. Warren flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ray is stalling here. Warren is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ray seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Warren has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Warren decides to stand back up. Warren steps back and let's Ray get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warren wants to clinch. Ray looks to land a body kick but Warren moved away. Warren swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ray. Ray misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sloppy strikes from Ray. Those never looked like landing. Ray looking to land some kicks to the body here.

and Ray counters with a left and a right that stings Warren. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Warren fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray is looking to land body kicks. Warren moves out of range of the body kick. Ray throws a left and a right that both miss
and Warren counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ray misses with a jab, cross combination.
Warren closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Warren wants to control but Ray is keeping him busy. Warren tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ray's legs. Warren is looking to take a break and control but Ray is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Warren might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ray kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jeo Warren. Warren lands an overhand right. Ray misses with a low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A combination from Warren does no damage. No luck with that takedown attempt from Warren. Warren takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jeo Warren hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Warren clinches with his opponent.
Ray tries to break free but Warren pushes him back against the cage. Warren manages to break the clinch.
Warren shoots in but Ray avoids the takedown attempt easily. Warren misses with a double jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A thudding body kick lands there by Ray!
Ray shoots in and bounces Warren off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Warren is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ray defends well. Warren is breathing heavily. Ray wants to control from the top but Warren keeps moving. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Warren can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray stays in close to Warren's body and controls the position. Jeo Warren has got the better of the ground game so far. Ray won't allow Warren to sweep him here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chay Ray. Warren throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Warren misses with a takedown attempt and Ray counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Chay Ray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeo Warren. Still in half guard, Ray seems content to control. Warren is not content to let Ray control the position. Warren wants to improve his position but Ray is controlling well.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Chay Ray just wasn't active enough. Ray drives through with a takedown into guard. Ray controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Warren is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ray is aware though and is defending well. Ray stays in close to Warren's body and controls the position. Warren is trying to control the position but Ray postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ray slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ray wants to control from the top but Warren keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Chay Ray wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Warren with a poor takedown and Ray counters with a nice low kick that buckles Warren's knee momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chay Ray dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Ray throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. The fight stays on the outside here - Warren looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ray throws a series of punches but Warren moves out of range. Ray throws a nice looking combination but Warren bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ray misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ray looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Warren is fending him off so far but Ray persists. Nope, Warren circles away and we're back to standing. Ray throws a series of punches but Warren moves out of range. Warren tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ray swivels and escapes. A punch combination from Ray misses. Ray throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Warren manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ray on his heels. He'll look to pass Ray's guard now, I'm sure. Warren stands up and waves to Ray to follow him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warren shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Warren showed some decent athleticism there. Warren is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ray has managed to free his arm - good work. Warren trying to pass the guard but Ray defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warren content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Warren is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ray is just riding it out for now. Warren eventually gives up the hold.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warren stops Ray from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ray keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ray scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Warren manages to mount him!
Warren throwing strikes here but Ray is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

And that's the end of the fight! Jeo Warren comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Warren has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
