Rabbit is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pedro closes the distance and clinches. Rabbit is breathing heavily. Pedro gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Pedro controlling the action here. Let's hope that Pedro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joao Pedro. Pedro darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pedro gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Rabbit could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. This has been an exciting period of action! Pedro bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pedro advances to mount. Pedro controlling from the full mount. Rabbit takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pedro has isolated one of Rabbit's arms. Rabbit looking to fight him off but Pedro twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
