PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sid Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Locke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage comes to the cage accompanied by the scatman. Locke is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Star Wars - Imperial March. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage fails to land with a series of punches.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Locke enables Savage to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Locke manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Savage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Locke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Savage has managed to get both his arms back between Locke's legs - danger averted.

John Locke has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Locke seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Savage does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Locke might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Savage kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
