Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Barry Schmelly! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Schmelly does a little dance to reset his feet. Miller misses with a kick to the body.
Miller gets in close and instigates a clinch. Miller has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Schmelly clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Schmelly defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Miller's arms. Schmelly trying to control the hands but Miller breaks the grip. Schmelly is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Schmelly tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Miller with good strikes from the mount here! This has been an exciting period of action! Miller with the ground and pound from mount. Schmelly tries to get back to half guard but can't.

This has been an exciting period of action! Schmelly is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Schmelly is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miller working the ground and pound. Schmelly wants to control but Miller postures up. Miller cracks Schmelly with a big right hand but Schmelly just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Miller is looking to take a break and control but Schmelly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Schmelly wants to control but Miller postures up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miller happy to just control the position for now. Barry Schmelly has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Schmelly gets back to half guard.
