Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kova Vasuri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John O Carroll!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Carroll throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vasuri tries to land a leg kick but O Carroll saw it coming and moves away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Vasuri.
Vasuri fails to land with a series of punches.
O Carroll throws a nice looking combination but Vasuri bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
O Carroll misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vasuri throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by O Carroll.

It looks like John O Carroll has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vasuri cracks O Carroll with an uppercut from hell and O Carroll crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Vasuri's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

O Carroll is rocked!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
O Carroll has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Vasuri has passed into side control.
O Carroll is still in real trouble! Can Vasuri finish him?
Vasuri trying to control the action but O Carroll is working from the bottom.
O Carroll seems to have recovered his senses.
O Carroll is trying to buck Vasuri off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
O Carroll is trying to work for a sweep but Vasuri has mounted him!
O Carroll really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Vasuri wants to control the pace but O Carroll is squirming around nicely.

Vasuri get's back to his feet.

Vasuri lands a head kick that stumbles O Carroll and the fighters go to the mat.

The cut above John O Carroll's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John O Carroll's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kova Vasuri!
In his post fight interview, Kova Vasuri started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
