Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yusuke Urameshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urameshi has chosen Jag - Can't Get Enough as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Thomas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yusuke Urameshi! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thomas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Urameshi.
Both fighters circling a little - Urameshi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Thomas looks to land a left hand but Urameshi moved out of range nicely. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Thomas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Urameshi is trying to control the position but Thomas postures up. Thomas throwing strikes from guard but Urameshi blocks nicely. Urameshi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thomas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Thomas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Thomas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Thomas drops back, looking for a kneebar! Urameshi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Urameshi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Urameshi! Urameshi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Thomas is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urameshi wants to get back to his feet.
Urameshi is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Thomas is trying to stand.
It looks like Urameshi is going to stand back up.
Thomas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Urameshi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Urameshi tries to free his leg and advance position but Thomas is retaining full guard. Urameshi is looking to stand up but Thomas won't let him. Urameshi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Thomas is keeping the position for now. Urameshi wants to get up but he can't break Thomas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Urameshi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Thomas darts in and clinches Urameshi up against the ropes. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Thomas jumps guard but Urameshi turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing. Urameshi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Urameshi is trying to break free. Thomas has Urameshi pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Thomas pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Urameshi tumbling to the mat - Thomas dives into Urameshi's guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Urameshi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Urameshi is thwarting Thomas's attempts to control the position. Urameshi wants to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Chris Thomas will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Thomas takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Chris Thomas has been cut. Chris Thomas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Thomas rushes Urameshi and presses him up against the ropes. Urameshi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Thomas is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Urameshi to the mat. Urameshi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Urameshi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Thomas trying to control but Urameshi is working from the bottom. Thomas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Urameshi dives on top into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Urameshi wanted to stand there but Thomas had control of the position. Thomas keeping moving, preventing Urameshi from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Thomas pulls Urameshi in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Thomas jabbing away but nothing is landing. Urameshi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Thomass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Urameshi connects with a nice looking jab.
Thomas gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Urameshi. Thomas misses with a double jab.
Urameshi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Thomas. Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Urameshi swats him away and circles back towards the center. Urameshi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Urameshi explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Urameshi throws a head kick that Thomas semi-blocks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Urameshi thuds his shin into the meat of Thomas's side. Thomas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Thomas working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Urameshi throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Chris Thomas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Urameshi tries to buck Thomas off but Thomas is having none of it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Thomas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Urameshi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Thomas creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Urameshi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. That's four minutes gone in the round. Urameshi sneaks back into half guard. Thomas not landing any meaningful shots this time. Thomas is trying to work for a kimura but Urameshi is defending well.

Thomas is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Urameshi is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Urameshi has escaped and now he's on top! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thomas has his hands on Urameshi's head, controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Yusuke Urameshi will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Chris Thomas's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Urameshi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Thomas in his tracks. Thomas takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Urameshi is keeping the position for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Thomas wants to stand but Urameshi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urameshi seems keen to control Thomas's posture. Urameshi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Thomas manages to get himself to full guard.

Thomas chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Urameshi can pounce on him.
Thomas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Urameshi. An inside leg kick lands from Urameshi. Urameshi cracks Thomas with an open hand slap. Urameshi lands a head kick. Thomas smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Thomas has managed to clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Urameshi wants to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thomas tries to break the clinch but Urameshi is controlling the position. A head punch blocked on the inside by Thomas. Urameshi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Thomas has him pressed against the ropes. Thomas tries to pull guard but Urameshi forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. Thomas pulls guard effortlessly. Urameshi wanted to stand there but Thomas had control of the position. Urameshi wants to stand and escape but instead Thomas has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that's the end of the fight! Yusuke Urameshi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Urameshi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Yusuke Urameshi! Yusuke Urameshi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
