Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Asylum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asylum comes to the cage accompanied by Go to sleep bitch!! Die muthafucka DIE DIE!!!. Silva has chosen Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. Frank Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a head kick that misses.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Asylum could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Asylum lands with an uppercut that bounces Silva off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Frank Silva has been cut.
Asylum swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Asylum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Asylum swivels and escapes.
Asylum gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch.
Silva tries to land a knee to the head but Asylum blocks with his arms.
Asylum tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.

Silva is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Asylum is defending well.

Silva manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Asylum wanted to stand there but Silva had control of the position.

Asylum got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Asylum has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Asylum is aware though and is defending well.

Asylum wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard.

Asylum tries to stand but Silva is controlling from the bottom.
Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Asylum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Asylum trying to stand up but can't free himself from Silva's guard.
Silva wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Asylum throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Asylum throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Silva tries to move into range but Asylum moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Asylum throws an uppercut from hell that sends Silva clean off his feet! He's out cold! Asylum stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alex Asylum!
