Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mortimer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowman comes to the cage accompanied by Dark Tranquillity - Misery's Crown. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mortimer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bowman.
Mortimer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bowman.
Mortimer throws a wild body kick that Bowman sees coming a mile off.
Bowman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mortimer was well out of range. Poor timing from Bowman.
Mortimer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mortimer cracks a nice hook into Bowman's ribs.
A low kick from Mortimer is predictable there
and Bowman counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mortimer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Pete Bowman has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bowman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mortimer feints a jab promting Bowman to slip. Mortimer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bowman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Mortimer drops his hands momentarily and Bowman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bowman takes the fight into the clinch.
Mortimer can't find room to land a body shot as Bowman controls the action.
Bowman tries to break the clinch but Mortimer is controlling the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bowman pushes off an throws an elbow but Mortimer leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Mortimer tries to bum rush Bowman with a series of wild strikes but Bowman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mortimer takes a swing at Bowman's ribcage but misses.
The fighters circling - Mortimer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bowman has Mortimer up against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tony Mortimer will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Bowman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Mortimer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bowman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mortimer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Bowman counters with an inside leg kick.
Mortimer throws a looping overhand right but Bowman ducks down to avoid it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bowman ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Mortimer out cold! The fight is over!
