The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Franklin swivels and escapes.
Teixeira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Franklin pinned against the cage. Franklin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Franklin closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Franklin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Teixeira is rocked!
Teixeira fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oh Teixeira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
