Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Cox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Avan Strash!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strash swings for the body but Cox moves out of range.
Strash misses with a looping right.
Strash throws a hook to the side of Cox's head but Cox sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Cox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Strash moves away.
Cox throws a jab when Strash was well out of range.

and Cox counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Strash thinking.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cox throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Strash stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Strash takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cox scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Strash doesn't seem bothered though.
Cox ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Strash takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Strash walks into a stiff left hand from Cox.
Cox is looking to wear down Strash with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Strash might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Strash looks to land a left hand but Cox moved out of range nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The crowd cheers as Cox lands an impressive looking overhand right. Strash doesn't seem phased though.

Strash takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Cox dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Cox jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Strash throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Strash connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Strash on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Strash swings for the body but Cox moves out of range.
Cox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Strash manages to avoid it.
Cox throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Strash might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Cox has got the better of the exchanges.
Strash uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cox.

Cox is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Strash can do to turn this around?

and Cox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cox's corner calls for a 1-2. Cox obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Cox connects with a body shot that sends Strash's belly button to the back.
Strash is breathing heavily.

Cox is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Strash ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Cox punishes Strash's body with a nice straight punch.
Chad Cox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strash throws a shot from downtown. Cox moves away and avoids it.
Cox connects with a single shot there.
Cox scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Strash takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Strash throws a wild hook but Cox just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Strash gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Cox raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
