The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Donnel stuffs the takedown.
Otool fails to land the takedown.
Otool tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but O Donnel swivels and escapes.
Kilian O Donnel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Otool.
Otool fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but O Donnel avoids it really well and circles away.
O Donnel throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
O Donnel cracks Otool with an open hand slap.
O Donnel closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Corey Otool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Otool shoots in looking for a takedown. O Donnel tries to sprawl out of it but Otool keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. O Donnel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Otool blocks an uppercut.
O Donnel is looking to control Otool's arms but Otool gets an underhook and turns him. Now O Donnel has his back to the cage.

Otool tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. O Donnel just stands there and leans against the cage.

O Donnel fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
O Donnel is trying to maintain a safe position but Otool gets an underhook and turns O Donnel into the cage.

O Donnel lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

O Donnel lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Otool tries to score a body lock takedown but O Donnel shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
O Donnel pushes Otool back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Otool is trying to stall.
O Donnel connects with a nasty looking knee right to Otool's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Otool is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in O Donnel's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

O Donnel has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Otool. Oh but O Donnel has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Otool goes limp - he's gone! O Donnel jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
