Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Pede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Avan Strash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Avan Strash enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pede was well out of range. Poor timing from Strash.
Pede fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Strash avoids it really well and circles away.
Pede shoots in looking for a takedown. Strash tries to sprawl out of it but Pede keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Strash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pede avoids the body shot from Strash.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Strash throws a body punch but Pede moves out of range.

Strash is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pede.
Pede misses with a takedown attempt - Strash sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Strash throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Strash uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pede has time to react.

Pede changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Strash tries to avoid it but Pede manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Strash to the ground. Strash escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Strash connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Strash dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Strash fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Pede shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Strash counters with a straight right hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Strash ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Strash thuds a left hand into Pede's body.
Pede is breathing heavily.
Strash connects with a looping right hand.
Pede has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Strash finds it's way round the side to connect with Pede's head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Pede gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pede. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Pede uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Strash.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Pede has gone for a leg lock! Strash slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pede's guard.

Pede is looking for a triangle but Strash pushes his legs off easily.

Pede pulls Strash in close to prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stan Pede.
Strash lands a right hook to the body.
Strash has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Strash lands a really nice looking cross but Pede seems unphased.
Strash stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pede tries to move into range but Strash moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters circle momentarily. Strash darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Pede avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Strash lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Pede tries to score a power double leg takedown but Strash sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pede somewhat.
Horrible takedown by Pede or perhaps it was just good defense by Strash which made him look bad.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Avan Strash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Pede postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Strash is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pede, into his guard.

Strash stands up from guard. Let's bang!

No luck for Pede with that takedown attempt.
Pede shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Strash sprawls well. Strash wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pede gets slowly back to his feet.
Strash bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Pede takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Strash cracks Pede with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Strash has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pede to stand back up!

Pede is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Pede is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pede bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Strash comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Pede falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Pede was out before he hit the floor!
