Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hatsu Hioki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Unto Haikio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hatsu Hioki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Unto Haikio! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hioki lands with a kick to the ribs.
Haikio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hioki tries to bench press Haikio off him but Haikio keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hioki throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Hioki is trying to get back to half guard. The strikes coming from Haikio are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Hioki taking punishment in the form of punches.
Hioki is looking for a sweep.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Haikio fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hioki wants to clinch and Haikio counters by clinching up. Haikio throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Haikio on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haikio lands an elbow inside. Hioki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Haikio clinches. Hioki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Haikio tries for a takedown but Hioki manages to get underhooks.
Hioki tries to land knees in the clinch but Haikio avoids the damage to the body. Hioki is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Haikio gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Haikio blocks the elbow strike.
Hioki jumps into guard, dragging Haikio to the mat.
Hioki looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hioki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hioki keeping full guard, as Haikio tries to pass. Hioki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Haikio's guard. Haikio looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hioki is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haikio has momentary wrist control but Hioki slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hioki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Haikio looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hioki throwing strikes but missing. Haikio looking for a sweep. Not yet Haikio, not yet. Haikio manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Haikio prevents Hioki from getting the reversal. Haikio pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Hioki regains half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Haikio connects with a nice short shot to Hioki's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hioki looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Haikio tries to stand but can't do so whilst Hioki controls his leg. Hioki makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hioki. Hioki is looking for a triangle but Haikio pushes his legs off easily.
Hioki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haikio can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hioki is breathing heavily. Haikio looking to pass the guard. Haikio avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Haikio drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Haikio jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haikio trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hioki's guard. Haikio is looking to work some ground and pound but Hioki has wrist control. Haikio stopping the sweep attempt from Hioki. Hioki is looking for a triangle but Haikio pushes his legs off easily.
Haikio wants to control from the top but Hioki keeps moving. Hioki throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Haikio stands and steps away. Hioki gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Haikio tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hatsu Hioki dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Haikio swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Haikio moves in looking to clinch but Hioki pushes him off. Hioki scores with a one two! Haikio had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Hioki goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Haikio lands with a kick to the ribs.
Haikio wants to clinch. Haikio gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hioki's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Haikio manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haikio avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Haikio has a takedown stuffed. Haikio closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hioki missing with knees to the body.
Haikio tries to pull guard but Hioki won't allow it.
Hioki has picked Haikio up - he's going for a ride! Hioki dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Hioki seems to be working for a kimura but Haikio defends the submission attempt. Haikio wants to improve his position but Hioki is controlling well.
Haikio looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Haikio is trying to stand up here but Hioki is controlling him well. Hioki in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Haikio tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hioki!
