Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson comes to the cage accompanied by The Fire by The Roots. Wilson has chosen Caustic Are The Ties That Bind as his entrance music. Wade Wilson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wilson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Simpson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wilson won't be happy with that.
Simpson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wilson keeps working.
Simpson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Simpson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Wilson is squirming around, avoiding Simpson's attempts to control the action.
Wilson wants to control but Simpson is having none of it.
Wilson is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Simpson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Wilson because Simpson loaded up on that one.

Simpson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Simpson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Simpson throws some wild stikes that Wilson manages to avoid easily.
Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Simpson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Simpson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Simpson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Wilson is on top in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Steve Simpson dominated that round.
That's time! Simpson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Simpson stalks Wilson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wilson's face. Wilson staggers backwards, shaken.
Simpson lands a head kick. Wilson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Wilson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wilson connects with a right hand. Simpson shakes it off.
Wilson lands a big head kick that sends Simpson tumbling to the mat! Wilson takes a step backwards and waves Simpson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Simpson is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Simpson misses with a combination
and Wilson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Simpson thinking.
Oh Simpson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wilson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Simpson takes a step back to recover.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wilson connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Simpson out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wade Wilson!
Wade Wilson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
