Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Bruno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucas Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Bruno! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruno closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Bruno pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bruno should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jones looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Bruno connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Jones stuffs the takedown. Bruno is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Jones tries for a takedown but Bruno sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nice takedown defense from Bruno. No joy for Jones on that attempt. Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position. Bruno slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jones has a closed guard, preventing Bruno from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruno trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bruno stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bruno fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. No luck for Bruno with that takedown attempt. Lucas Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Bruno. Bruno closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Bruno pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bruno shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Bruno shows good takedown defense. Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Bruno. Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bruno to the mat! Bruno manages to get full guard. Bruno lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jones! Bruno wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruno tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bruno trying to control but Jones is having none of it. Jones working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones wants to control but Bruno is having none of it. Bruno punishing his opponent with strikes. Bruno tries to control but Jones wriggling away. Poor strikes thrown by Bruno there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Bruno dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones shoots in and bounces Bruno off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bruno working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bruno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bruno postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruno advances to half guard. Bruno is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Bruno eventually gives up the hold. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bruno on the ground. Jones is trying to maintain the position but Bruno is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bruno thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
Jones is defending against the submission attempts here by Bruno.
Jones regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bruno.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones has a closed guard, preventing Bruno from standing up. Bruno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bruno is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones keeping moving, preventing Bruno from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bruno shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bruno was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bruno has hold of Jones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jones in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Bruno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Bruno looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bruno. Bruno throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Bruno. Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Bruno on that attempt. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Bruno misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lucas Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Bruno. Nice sprawl there from Bruno as Jones shoots in. Bruno changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jones managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bruno.
Bruno misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bruno is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to control but Bruno postures up. Bruno trying to control the position but Jones is working away. You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bruno is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bruno is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruno looking to control but instead Jones has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Bruno controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bruno is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well. Jones is refusing to be controlled, as Bruno sits in half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bruno tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jones.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Bruno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bruno has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
