Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darel Darel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Boudreau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darel Darel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Boudreau! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boudreau shoots for a double leg takedown but Darel sprawls well. He's pushed Boudreau's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Darel fails to land the takedown. Boudreau looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Darel is fending him off so far but Boudreau persists. Nope, Darel circles away and we're back to standing. Darel gets a clinch. Boudreau is trying to break the clinch but Darel is controlling him. Darel breaks the clinch.
Boudreau gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Darel to score an easy takedown into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boudreau looks gassed! Boudreau keeping moving, preventing Darel from controlling successfully. Darel is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Darel stands up and waves to Boudreau to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boudreau shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Darel as he jumps to the side. Darel Darel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Boudreau. Boudreau misses with a low kick. Boudreau looks to throw the jab but Darel is out of range. Darel dives in and scores a takedown into Boudreau's guard. Darel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Darel chips away with some ground and pound. Darel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Darel stands up from Boudreau's guard - Darel perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Darel gets a takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Darel wants to free his trapped foot but Boudreau is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Darel with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Darel Darel has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Darel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Darel shoots for a double leg takedown but Boudreau sprawls well. He's pushed Darel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Boudreau takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Darel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Darel gets the takedown into side control. Darel has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Boudreau avoids the head kick by Darel.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boudreau avoids the head kick by Darel.
Boudreau shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Darel wants to control but Boudreau is keeping busy and won't allow it. Boudreau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Darel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Darel tries to get to full guard but Boudreau has control of the leg. Boudreau wants to control but Darel is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darel Darel dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Darel shoots for a takedown but Boudreau saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Darel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Darel sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Boudreau defending well though. Darel trying to control the action but Boudreau is working from the bottom. Darel decides to stand and escape the position. Darel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Darel Darel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boudreau feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Darel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Darel throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darel has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boudreau working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Darel keeping moving, preventing Boudreau from controlling successfully. Darel is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Boudreau has his hands clasped together but Darel extends an breaks Boudreau's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Darel.
