Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Murphy MacManus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Chestnut!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacManus takes the fight into the clinch.
MacManus scores with a shot to the side of Chestnut's head.
MacManus avoiding damage.
Chestnut blocks an elbow strike from MacManus.
MacManus misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Chestnut.
A head punch on the inside from Chestnut fails to land.
MacManus is working Chestnut over against the cage.
MacManus misses with a short punch on the inside.
MacManus can't find room to land a body shot as Chestnut controls the action.
MacManus throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Chestnut blocks it with crossed arms.
MacManus tries a knee to the head but Chestnut blocks it.

MacManus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
MacManus takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
MacManus tries to close the distance and clinch but Chestnut swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chestnut avoids a punch combination nicely.
A decent looking cross lands there for Chestnut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
MacManus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chestnut can pounce on him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
An inside leg kick from Chestnut misses.
Nice defenses there by Chestnut.
MacManus throws a sloppy head kick and Chestnut moves out of range easily.
MacManus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chestnut swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Good leg kick by Chestnut there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Murphy MacManus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacManus fails in his attempt to clinch.
Chestnut moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Murphy MacManus has been cut.
Chestnut buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chestnut keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Chestnut cracks MacManus with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Chestnut has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning MacManus to stand back up!

MacManus is rocked!
Chestnut fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked MacManus out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Walter Chestnut!
Walter Chestnut was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
