The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gutierrez falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gutierrez is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hall.
Gutierrez closes the distance and clinches up with Hall, looking for a takedown. Gutierrez pushes Hall against the cage but Hall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gutierrez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hall wants to stand up but Gutierrez is controlling him.

Gutierrez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Gutierrez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hall keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gutierrez's efforts to push away.

Hall drops Gutierrez with a beautiful combination! Gutierrez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hall is looking for the KO!

Hall manages to break the clinch.
Hall misses with a head kick.
Hall lands a two punch combo.
Oh Gutierrez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hall pushes Gutierrez up against the cage in a clinch.
Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Gutierrez can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Hall and Gutierrez drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Hall.
