Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wes Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miles comes to the cage accompanied by Kings of Leon - Closer. Lucas Park has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wes Miles's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wes Miles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas Park! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Park bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Park misses with a takedown attempt and Miles counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Miles lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Park at a distance.
Miles dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Park changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miles tries to avoid it but Park manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miles to the ground. Miles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Park fails with a takedown attempt. Wes Miles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Park. Park with a lazy takedown attempt and Miles counters with a lovely straight right hand! Park looks gassed! Park with a lazy takedown attempt and Miles counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Miles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miles changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Park crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Miles - the referee stops the clock and Park gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Miles. Park manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Miles has closed the distance and engaged Park in a clinch.
Miles pushes Park back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Park blocks an uppercut.
Park wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Park is trying to break the clinch but Miles is controlling him. Miles can't find room to land a body shot as Park controls the action.
Miles tries to work over Park's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Miles doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

A good leg kick by Miles. Miles catches Park with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Park shoots in and drives through. Miles sprawls well. Park uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miles.
Miles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Miles wants it to stay on the feet. Park shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Miles counters with a nice body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Park dodges the punch combination from Miles.
Miles moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Park tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Miles paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miles connects with a jab. Park misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Miles throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Park tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miles is in Park's guard. Miles trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Miles throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Miles is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Park trying to control the position.
Miles trying to control but Park is working from the bottom. Miles content to stall in guard here. Miles wants to control from the top but Park keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Park swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miles distracts Park with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Park is looking for a triangle but Miles pushes his legs off easily.
Miles wants to control from the top but Park keeps moving. Park is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miles defends well. Miles is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Miles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Park has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miles has managed to get both his arms back between Park's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miles distracts Park with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wes Miles dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A head kick by Park misses and Miles counters with a solid body kick. Miles clobbers Park with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Park is trying desperately to land a takedown but Miles is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Park. Miles takes a swing at Park's ribcage but misses. Park is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Miles misses with a two punch combination.
Miles scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miles wants to control but Park is keeping him busy. Miles prevents Park from improving his position. Still in half guard, Miles seems content to control. Park trying to control from the bottom.
Park gets full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Miles wants to control from the top but Park keeps moving. Miles scoring with punches to the head and body.

Miles in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Park is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Park is breathing heavily. Miles preventing the sweep. Park trying to keep a closed guard but Miles is proving a slippery customer.
Miles not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Park looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Miles working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Park's head. Miles looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Miles tries to free his leg and advance position but Park is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miles slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Park tries to bench press Miles off him but Miles keeps the position. Miles trying to control the action but Park is working from the bottom. Park tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miles wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Park takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Miles gets to mount! Park was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Miles lands with some strikes. Miles sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Park is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Miles can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Park is looking to escape. Park is trying to escape the mount.
Miles wants to control the pace but Park is squirming around nicely. Miles with shots to the head and body - Park looks very uncomfortable down there. Park is bucking up trying to escape but Miles cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Miles tries to control but Park wriggling away. Miles postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Park looks a forlorn figure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Miles content just to control the position here. Miles avoids the attempt from Park to control. Miles working the ground and pound effectively.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miles controlling from mount. Park is in a horrible position here. Miles smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Park takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Park shoots and misses enabling Miles to counter with a crisp jab. Wes Miles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Park. Miles scores with a shot to the body.

Park tries to move into range but Miles moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Miles connects with a right hand. Park shakes it off. Park gets a double leg takedown into Miles's guard. Park trying to control but Miles is working from the bottom. Miles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Miles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Park can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Park preventing the sweep.

Miles moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Lucas Park has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Miles keeping moving, preventing Park from controlling successfully. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Park looking to pass the guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Park postures up in Miles's guard and throws a big left but Miles blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! Wes Miles showed his dominance in that final round. Well Miles has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
