Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bravo comes to the cage accompanied by Magic. Eddie Bravo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Payne! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payne lands with an overhand left. Bravo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bravo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bravo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Payne defends it well. Bravo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Payne's head. Bravo is trying to control the action in half guard but Payne is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bravo stops Payne from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Payne keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Bravo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Payne can do anything to dispel that myth. Payne wants to improve his position but Bravo is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Payne is trying to stand up here but Bravo is controlling him well. Payne is holding on to half guard well. Bravo is looking to advance position but Payne won't allow it. Payne controlling the position for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Justin Payne. A looping hook to the body misses from Payne. Bravo does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Payne paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Bravo throws a head kick that misses. Payne connects with a single shot there. Justin Payne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bravo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Payne's waist but Payne gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bravo off to one side. Bravo fails with the takedown. Bravo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Bravo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bravo misses with a takedown attempt and Payne counters with a straight right hand. Payne lands with a nice combination. Bravo backs away looking to recover. Bravo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Payne. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Payne connects with a single shot there.
Bravo is rocked! Payne steps in with a hook that catches Bravo right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Payne follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Bravo looks absolutely devastated.
