Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aalto lands a leg kick that knocks Nisbik off balance momentarily.
Nice takedown defense from Aalto. No joy for Nisbik on that attempt.
Aalto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nisbik paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nisbik shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Aalto as he avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nisbik.

Aalto unloads with some shots from mount but Nisbik bucks and avoids them well.

Aalto is landing with some decent strikes but Nisbik is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Nisbik can't escape the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nisbik swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Nisbik takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Aalto throws a combination. Nisbik tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

and Nisbik counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Horrible takedown by Nisbik or perhaps it was just good defense by Aalto which made him look bad.

Nisbik chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Aalto can pounce on him.

Nisbik bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nisbik is breathing heavily.

Aalto is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Aalto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nisbik tries to move into full mount but can't pass Aalto's legs.

Nisbik is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Nisbik is trying to get an arm triangle but Aalto is defending well.
Nisbik thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nisbik has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aalto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
