Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jarrod Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Sokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sokka has chosen Black Sun Aeon - Core of Winter as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Antti Sokka enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Sokka lands but Wyatt takes it in his stride.

Sokka stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wyatt.
Sokka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wyatt goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Wyatt throws a lazy uppercut
and Sokka makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sokka pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wyatt is out of range and Sokka settles back down.

Wyatt attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Wyatt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sokka blocks a low kick nicely.

Sokka closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wyatt quickly recovers to half guard.

Wyatt wants to control but Sokka is keeping busy.
Wyatt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sokka scores with a couple of nice shots.
Sokka is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Wyatt is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sokka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Jarrod Wyatt will probably get the nod.

Poor strikes thrown by Sokka there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
