Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anello stuns Morrison with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Anello misses with a body shot.
Anello digs a good body shot into Morrison's ribs.
Morrison tries to work over Anello's front leg with a kick but Anello checks it.
Morrison has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Morrison there as he acknowledges the shot.
Anello throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Anello fakes the leg kick and cracks Morrison in the body.

Morrison moves into the clinch successfully.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Anello.
Anello blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Anello is looking to break free of the clinch but Morrison has double underhooks.
Morrison misses with the head strike.
Anello tries to break the clinch but Morrison is controlling the position.
Morrison stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Morrison looks to throw the jab but Anello is out of range.
Anello slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Morrison lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Anello keeps the fight on the outside.
Anello swings for the body but Morrison moves out of range.
Morrison throws an off balance right hand
and Anello cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Morrison avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Morrison ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Anello scores with a sloppy right hand. Morrison should have avoided that one.

Anello rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Morrison counters with a head kick.

Anello bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Morrison's head backwards.

Tommy Morrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrison wants to clinch.
Morrison throws a head kick that misses.
Morrison misses with a head kick.
Morrison throws a low kick but it's checked well by Anello.
Morrison displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anello throws out the jab.

and Morrison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Morrison ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anello moves away.
Morrison throws a lazy head kick
and Anello counters with a one-two to the body.
Morrison throws a body punch but Anello moves out of range.
Anello sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Some bone on bone action there as Morrison checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Anello ducks under a wild hook from Morrison.
Morrison lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Morrison rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anello moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Morrison counters with a big head kick but Anello shrugs it off.
Anello misses with a lunging right hand
and Morrison counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Anello is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Good work by Morrison as he checks the leg kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morrison swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Morrison fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Anello slips under a jab from Morrison.
Anello digs a good hook to Morrison's body.
Anello fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Morrison looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Anello will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Anello uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Morrison misses with a two punch combination.
Morrison throws a lazy uppercut
and Anello counters with a solid body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anello lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Anello keeps Morrison at a distance using the push kick.
Oh Morrison is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Anello counters with a big right hand! Oh Morrison is in trouble here! Anello follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Calogero Anello decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
