Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Khripunova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rogers has chosen Bulletproof as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khripunova throws a hook but Rogers avoids it easily.

and Khripunova counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Steve Rogers has been cut.
Rogers changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rogers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rogers throws a shot from downtown. Khripunova moves away and avoids it.

Khripunova shoots in and bounces Rogers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khripunova is taking a breather. Rogers says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Khripunova cracks Rogers with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Rogers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Khripunova to score with a decent uppercut.
