Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Niob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carnival Hippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Niob has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Niob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carnival Hippo!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurstr�m and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Niob. No joy for Hippo on that attempt.
Niob lands with a nice body punch.
Niob throws a hook to the side of Hippo's head but Hippo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Niob misses with a body shot
and Hippo counters with a two punch combo.
Niob connects with a nice looking jab.
Hippo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Niob counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hippo misses with a few strikes there.
Niob misses with a left hand
and Hippo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hippo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Niob.
Hippo displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Hippo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Niob tries to avoid it but Hippo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Niob to the ground. Niob escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hippo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nick Niob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carnival Hippo.
Hippo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hippo is rocked!
Niob ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Hippo out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nick Niob!
