The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ytick counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ytick is looking to take a break and control but Popov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ytick in side control, throwing shots but Popov defends.
Ytick scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Popov to see if he's OK.
Popov wants to control but Ytick postures up.
Popov is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ytick's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ytick lands a nice short elbow.

Popov makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Popov.
Popov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ytick doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ytick manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ytick seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Ytick is posturing up here but Popov has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ytick tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ytick has to tap! Slick submission there by Popov!
