Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Greco Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dane Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook has chosen Lifeless by 12 Stones as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Cook.

Roman throws a lazy right hand but Cook sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Roman closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Roman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Roman fails to land the takedown.
Cook cracks Roman with an open hand slap.

Roman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cook napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This has been an exciting period of action!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cook is trying to control Roman's posture but Roman avoids it.
Cook holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

Cook is staying active underneath Roman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Roman wants to advance to full mount but Cook doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Roman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cook has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roman has managed to get both his arms back between Cook's legs - danger averted.

Roman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cook on the ground.

Cook escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Roman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cook wants to hold on but Roman pushes him away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cook lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nice uppercut lands for Cook. That snapped Roman's head back.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cook throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Roman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cook connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Roman's hands.

Roman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cook pinned against the cage. Cook gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Cook feints a jab promting Roman to slip. Cook then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Roman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Roman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cook's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Cook might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Roman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Dane Cook is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
