Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Mitas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitas comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead - Iron Fist. Fredriksson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Shurik'n - Samourai . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucas Fredriksson! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.

Mitas tries for a takedown but Fredriksson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fredriksson has closed the distance and engaged Mitas in a clinch.
Mitas jumps guard but Fredriksson stands there with Mitas around his waist. Mitas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mitas has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fredriksson uses from the top position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Fredriksson wants to control from the top but Mitas keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mitas is on top in guard.

Mitas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fredriksson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mitas has managed to get both his arms back between Fredriksson's legs - danger averted. Fredriksson keeping moving, preventing Mitas from controlling successfully. Mitas postures up in Fredriksson's guard and throws a big left but Fredriksson blocks it.
Fredriksson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mitas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mitas trying to control but Fredriksson is working from the bottom.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fredriksson is trying to drag Mitas to the mat but Mitas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Fredriksson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mitas after a bit of a struggle. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fredriksson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Piotr Mitas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Fredriksson. Fredriksson lands a nice uppercut.
Mitas ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mitas no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fredriksson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fredriksson wants it to stay on the feet. Mitas shoots in but no luck this time. Mitas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fredriksson tries to avoid it but Mitas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fredriksson to the ground. Fredriksson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Piotr Mitas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fredriksson is looking to take a break and control but Mitas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lucas Fredriksson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Mitas is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fredriksson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mitas is looking to defend but Fredriksson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mitas! Fredriksson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mitas taps out and this one is all over!
