Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Pablo has a takedown stuffed.
Pablo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Diaz sprawls well. Diaz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pablo gets slowly back to his feet.
Pablo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pablo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Diaz lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Diaz throws a series of punches but Pablo moves out of range.
Pablo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Diaz connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Pablo shoots in for a takedown but Diaz shows good takedown defense.
Nick Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of el Pablo.
Diaz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Diaz throws the left hand but Pablo avoids the punch easily.

Pablo stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Pablo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Pablo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diaz but Diaz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pablo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Diaz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pablo scrambles back to his feet.

Diaz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Diaz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Diaz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pablo on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pablo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Pablo looking to sit in guard and control but Diaz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz is looking to work some ground and pound but Pablo has wrist control.

Pablo controls Diaz momentarily but Diaz frees himself.
Diaz trying to control but Pablo is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A jab from Diaz finds it's way through Pablo's defenses.
Pablo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Diaz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Diaz smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Nick Diaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pablo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pablo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Pablo tries for a takedown but Diaz manages to get underhooks.
Pablo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Diaz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Diaz for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pablo tries to throw a body punch but Diaz avoids it by throwing Pablo back against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pablo wants to take the fight to the mat but Diaz manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Pablo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Diaz pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Diaz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pablo moves forwards but Diaz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pablo is rocked!
Diaz grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Pablo takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Diaz cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
