Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Abel Bashor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Eckhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Bashor 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Eckhart avoids the head kick by Bashor.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Eckhart swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bashor counters by clinching up.
Eckhart looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bashor using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Eckhart has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Eckhart has had enough of the clinch but Bashor keeps him there for the moment.
Eckhart lands a hook that snaps the head of Bashor backwards.
Eckhart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bashor misses with a head kick.
Eckhart avoids the head kick by Bashor.
Eckhart misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bashor blocks a head kick by Eckhart.
A nice inside leg kick there by Eckhart. That's going to slow Bashor down.
Look low, kick high! Eckhart uses the oldest trick in the book to send Bashor tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Eckhart is absolutely delighted - when Bashor wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
