Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hank Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Lysak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hank Mack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Lysak! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lysak tries to avoid it but Mack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lysak to the ground. Lysak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lysak shoots in for a double leg but Mack sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lysak blocks a head kick by Mack.
Lysak lands a nice shot to the body.
Lysak darts in and clinches Mack up against the cage. Mack wants to break free but Lysak has control.
Lysak has hold of one of Mack's legs. Mack is fighting the takedown attempt but Lysak gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Lysak distracts Mack with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mack keeping full guard, as Lysak tries to pass. Lysak's corner is telling him to maintain position. This has been an exciting period of action! Lysak decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mack, up you get! Mack tries to clinch up and Lysak counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mack tries for a takedown but Lysak circles away easily and Lysak decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mack's guard. Lysak's corner is telling him to maintain position. Lysak landing some decent shots from guard. Lysak controlling from the top position. Lysak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mack is looking to stand back up but Lysak counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mack. Mack tries to kick Lysak off but Lysak keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Still in half guard, Lysak seems content to control. Lysak passes to side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Lysak stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lysak shoots in for a takedown but Mack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mack tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lysak is able to avoid easily. Mack shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hank Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mack doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lysak counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Lysak stops Mack from getting back to his feet.
Mack is breathing heavily. Lysak controlling the action here. Lysak looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mack with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lysak is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Mack is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Lysak tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lysak is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mack to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mack shrugs it off. Mack tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mack is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Mack tries to hold on but Lysak pushes him away. Lysak sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lysak wants to finish this one by submission but Mack is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lysak. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lysak has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mack's face.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mack is wriggling around trying to escape.
Mack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lysak on the ground. Lysak connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Lysak controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Lysak dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A shot to the liver by Lysak. Beautiful body shot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mack. Mack shoots for a double leg takedown but Lysak sprawls well. He's pushed Mack's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mack throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

and Lysak counters by moving into the clinch. Lysak works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Lysak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lysak works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mack is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mack has a hand on Lysak's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Lysak takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Lysak scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Mack?

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lysak working Mack over with strikes here. You get the feeling that Mack really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Mack is trying to stand but he's just given Lysak his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mack is taking damage to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Lysak is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Mack up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ivan Lysak hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mack tries to score with a low kick but Lysak moves his leg out of the way. Mack shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lysak pinned against the cage. Lysak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hank Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lysak shoots in and gets a takedown into Mack's guard. Lysak slips nicely into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Lysak seems content to control. Mack is trying to stand.
Lysak works his foot free and advances to mount. Lysak lands a heavy elbow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mack is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Lysak prevents Mack from getting the reversal. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lysak controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Lysak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Mack tries to close the distance and clinch but Lysak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mack tries to clinch and Lysak counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lysak. Mack is trying to break the clinch but Lysak is controlling him. Lysak has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mack regains guard immediately. Mack wants to stand but Lysak is controlling the position. Lysak throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lysak stays in close to Mack's body and controls the position. Mack can't keep his opponent in guard - Lysak advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mack is looking to escape. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mack trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Lysak has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Lysak cracks Mack with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lysak content just to control the position here. Mack can't escape the position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lysak cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lysak has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mack has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hank Mack has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mack is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Lysak is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Mack taps out!
