Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tonttu Ukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tero Taikina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taikina has chosen Cookie song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ukko shoots in looking for a takedown. Taikina tries to sprawl out of it but Ukko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taikina manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Taikina just misses with a punch to the body.
Taikina tries to clinch up but Ukko circles away and keeps his distance.
Taikina jabs Ukko to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ukko has his takedown stuffed
and Ukko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ukko swats away the attempt to clinch by Taikina.
Ukko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Taikina was covering up waiting for the punch and Ukko finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taikina has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Taikina is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ukko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taikina gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Taikina fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ukko manages to avoid it.

Taikina shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Taikina was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ukko is in a horrible position here. Taikina smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Taikina connects with a nice short shot to Ukko's temple.

Tero Taikina comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Taikina has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
