The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyer with a nice cross.
Meyer misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Foreman to counter with a crisp jab.
Foreman sends Meyer crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Foreman is motioning to the referee to let Meyer up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Meyer is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Foreman misses with a looping left.
Meyer is still on wobbly legs! Can Foreman finish him?
Meyer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Foreman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Meyer somewhat.
Meyer seems to have recovered his senses.
George Foreman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foreman closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Meyer out cold! Meyer corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
