Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Olais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Bo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Olais!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olais shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bo as he avoids it easily.
Jim Bo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Olais shoots in for a takedown but Bo shows good takedown defense.
Olais shoots in but Bo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jim Bo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Olais.

Olais is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bo is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Bo's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Horrible takedown by Olais or perhaps it was just good defense by Bo which made him look bad.

Bo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Olais has time to react.

Olais closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bo pulls Olais in close to prevent any damage.

Bo is looking for a triangle but Olais pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bo is looking for a sweep. Olais is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Olais is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Olais is looking to advance position but Bo won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jim Bo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Olais takes one to the side of the head.
Olais tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bo swivels and escapes.
Bo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Olais manages to avoid it.

Olais drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Olais jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Olais closes the distance and clinches up with Bo, looking for a takedown. Olais pushes Bo against the cage but Bo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Olais shoots in but Bo avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Olais shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bo pinned against the cage. Bo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Olais is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Olais can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bo controls the pace.

Olais working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Peter Olais comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
