Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alvaro De Silva!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hoy can pounce on him.
De Silva has his takedown stuffed
and Hoy counters with a two punch combo.
De Silva shoots and misses
and Hoy counters with a head kick. That will keep De Silva thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
De Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.
De Silva with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hoy counters with a nice uppercut.
Dane Hoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alvaro De Silva.
Hoy feints and then cracks De Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow De Silva down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
De Silva walks into a stiff left hand from Hoy.
Good shot there by Hoy.
Hoy keeps De Silva at a distance using the push kick.
Hoy looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hoy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. De Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hoy catches De Silva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Nice jab there from Hoy.
Hoy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before De Silva has time to react.
De Silva on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hoy connects with a good right hand that stumbles De Silva. De Silva circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hoy lands with a thumping leg kick.
De Silva looks gassed!
Hoy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hoy lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Hoy working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Hoy scores with punches from side control.
De Silva is rocked!
The referee asks Hoy politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hoy prefers to stall for the moment though.
De Silva takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
De Silva is still in real trouble! Can Hoy finish him?
De Silva is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hoy connects with a decent elbow.

Hoy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hoy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hoy content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Hoy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, De Silva has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoy in side control lands a decent elbow.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Hoy is trying to get an arm triangle but De Silva is defending well.
Hoy has worked his way into a potential kimura here. De Silva is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hoy yanks on the arm and De Silva is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hoy.
