Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brett Helix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kavon Lovve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helix tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Helix lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Helix misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lovve.
Helix throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Lovve checks a leg kick.
No luck for Lovve with that takedown attempt.
Brett Helix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Helix throws a wild body kick that Lovve sees coming a mile off.
Helix cracks a nice hook into Lovve's ribs.
Lovve shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Helix pinned against the cage. Helix gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lovve changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Helix tries to avoid it but Lovve manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Helix to the ground. Helix escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brett Helix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kavon Lovve.
Helix displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lovve.
Lovve shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Helix sprawls well. Helix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lovve gets slowly back to his feet.

Helix scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Helix swings for the body but Lovve moves out of range.
Lovve has a takedown stuffed.
Lovve takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Good work by Lovve as he checks the leg kick.
Helix loads up on a big right hand but Lovve slips the punch.
Helix lands with an overhand left.
Helix moves into range and connects with a jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lovve.
Helix misses with an uppercut.

Helix lands a lovely overhand right.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lovve.
Lovve fails to land the takedown.
A punch lands to the side of Lovve 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Helix looks to land a left hand but Lovve moved out of range nicely.
Lovve defending well as Helix loads up on a big left hand.
A big left from Helix misses.
Helix misses the shot to the body.
Horrible takedown by Lovve or perhaps it was just good defense by Helix which made him look bad.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Helix uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lovve has time to react.
Helix connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lovve shoots and misses
and Helix counters with a stiff right hand.
Helix clobbers Lovve with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lovve shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Helix as he avoids it easily.
Lovve looks gassed!
Helix lands with a hook. Lovve tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lovve takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Helix misses with a low kick.
Helix throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Helix darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lovve checks a leg kick.
Helix tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lovve avoids a kick to the body.
Lovve shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Helix as he jumps to the side.
Lovve will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Helix throws a front kick aimed at Lovve's knee but Lovve avoids it well.
Lovve takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Helix lands a glancing blow to the side of Lovve's head.
Brett Helix is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Helix scores with a jab. Lovve acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Helix.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lovve uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Helix.
Lovve shoots in looking for a takedown but Helix manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lovve's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Helix lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Helix works Lovve's body with a nice hook.
Helix throws a series of strikes that have Lovve backpedaling.
Helix swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Helix tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lovve was well out of range. Poor timing from Helix.

Lovve drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Lovve has hold of Helix's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Helix seems comfortable defending it but Lovve has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Helix is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Helix is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lovve couldn't care less - he's delighted!
