9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Priest! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peyton Kraze! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kraze throws a big shot that misses. Kraze takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kraze with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Priest to score with a decent uppercut. Priest misses with a looping right. Kraze throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Priest. Kraze throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kraze on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Peyton Kraze has been cut. Priest scores with a leg kick.
Priest wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! A slow jab from Kraze misses its intended target. Priest clinches with his opponent.
Kraze has Priest pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Priest manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kraze tries to circle away but Priest has him pinned against the cage. Priest scores with a nice hook to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kraze wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kraze lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Kraze slows down the pace here.
Kraze wants to break free but Priest has control.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Kraze takes an elbow to the forehead. Kraze tries to circle away but Priest has him pinned against the cage. Kraze looking to stall.
Priest lands an elbow that stopped Kraze in his tracks for a moment. Kraze misses with an elbow strike.
Kraze tries to circle away but Priest has him pinned against the cage. Priest lands a knee to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kraze is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Priest lands a nice elbow.
That has opened up Peyton Kraze's cut even more.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Priest lands a left hand.
Priest lands a right hand.
The cut above Peyton Kraze's eye is starting to cause him problems now. A short right from Priest. Kraze pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Priest lands an elbow inside. Priest lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Peyton Kraze's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Peyton Kraze's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Johnny Priest! Our winner, Johnny Priest, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
