Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arco Amon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sven Sevenson!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amon throws a hook to the side of Sevenson's head but Sevenson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Arco Amon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Amon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sevenson.
Sevenson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Amon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Amon looks to land a right hand but Sevenson moved out of range.
Amon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sevenson.
Amon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sevenson.
A jab lands there for Sevenson.
It looks like Arco Amon has been cut.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Amon goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sevenson prevents it.
Sevenson tries to pull guard but Amon won't allow it.
Amon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Amon clinches with his opponent.
Amon is trying to break free.
Amon jumps into guard, dragging Sevenson to the mat.
Sevenson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Sevenson throws a strike but Amon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Sevenson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Amon's guard.
Amon looking for a sweep. Not yet Amon, not yet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sevenson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sevenson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sevenson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Sevenson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sevenson trying to control but Amon is working from the bottom.
Amon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sevenson!
Amon landing punches.
Amon lands a big shot there that rocks Sevenson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Amon lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sevenson is rocked!
Amon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sevenson turns into him and now he's in Amon's guard.
Sevenson is still in real trouble! Can Amon finish him?

Sevenson wants to pass the guard but Amon is keeping the position.
Sevenson throws a strike but Amon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Amon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sevenson's head.
Amon postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Sevenson covers up, he's hurt! Amon keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Amon and the ref steps in to end the fight! Amon can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arco Amon!
