The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mica shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rocco as he jumps to the side.
Rocco keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rocco drives through and clinches with Mica against the cage.
Rocco is pressed up against the cage. Mica has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rocco down to the mat. Rocco avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Michael Rocco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Mica.
Rocco moves into the clinch.
Mica fails to pull guard.
Mica tries to pull guard but Rocco won't allow it.
Rocco works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Rocco wants to get up but he can't break Mica's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mica is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Rocco has his hands clasped together but Mica extends an breaks Rocco's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Mica.
