The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Maxai.
Maxai closes the distance and pushes Terrier back into the cage.
Maxai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maxai clinches up against the cage.
Terrier wants to break free but Maxai has control.
Maxai breaks from the clinch.
Maxai fakes the leg kick and cracks Terrier in the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maxai lands a slapping body shot.
Terrier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Maxai! Terrier is out on his feet! Maxai rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Terrier is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Terrier is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Maxai!
