The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Barnes slips a straight right by Derba.
Derba walks into a jab.
A good leg kick by Derba.
Barnes checks a leg kick nicely.
Derba uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barnes.
Barnes connects with a body shot that sends Derba's belly button to the back.
Derba takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Derba loads up on a big right hand but Barnes slips the punch.
An inside leg kick lands from Derba.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Derba scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Bj Barnes has been cut.
Derba just misses with a punch to the body.
Derba throws a head kick that misses.
Derba looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Barnes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Derba throws out the jab.

Derba throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A decent looking cross lands there for Derba.
Derba attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Derba misses with a body shot.
Derba swings away with a body shot that misses
and Barnes counters with a thumping low kick.
Barnes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Derba ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barnes moves away.
Barnes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Derba swivels and escapes.
Derba pivots, looking for a leg kick but Barnes is out of range and Derba settles back down.
Barnes shoots in but Derba avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Barnes dodges the punch combination from Derba.
Barnes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Derba misses the target.
Derba lands a jab to the head.
Derba is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good leg kick by Derba there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Derba moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Barnes chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Derba pounces like a tiger and cracks Barnes with a vicious hook! Barnes is down but not out! Derba follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
