Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paolo Castrogiovanni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castrogiovanni comes to the cage accompanied by Dean Martin - That's Amore. Tom Morrow will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castrogiovanni throws a leg kick that misses.
Morrow darts in trying to clinch
and Castrogiovanni counters with a left and a right that stings Morrow.
Morrow wants to clinch
and Castrogiovanni counters with an outside leg kick.
Morrow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Morrow tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Castrogiovanni counters with a body kick that stops Morrow in his tracks momentarily.
Castrogiovanni pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Castrogiovanni throws the kick towards the body but Morrow avoids it.
Morrow looks to clinch
and Castrogiovanni counters with an inside leg kick.
Castrogiovanni just misses with a punch to the body.
Morrow tries to clinch but Castrogiovanni moves away
and Castrogiovanni counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Morrow.
Morrow is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Castrogiovanni is defending well for now.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Morrow wants to stand and escape but Castrogiovanni is having none of it.
Morrow wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Castrogiovanni's hips, looking to push off. But Castrogiovanni grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Morrow screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
