Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hans Landa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tadashi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landa comes to the cage accompanied by Ich tu dir weh - Rammstein. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tadashi Masaru was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hans Landa! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tadashi Masaru! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masaru misses the jab. Masaru cracks Landa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Hans Landa has been cut. Masaru gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A slow jab from Landa misses its intended target. Landa needs to keep his hands up - Masaru had a free shot at his head there. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Landa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masaru has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masaru and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Masaru throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A lazy left from Landa finds it's target. Masaru avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Landa gets a double leg takedown into Masaru's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Landa stays in close to Masaru's body and controls the position. Landa throwing strikes but missing. Landa looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Landa in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Landa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Masaru being controlled here, momentarily. Landa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Landa won't allow Masaru to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Landa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Masaru manages to avoid it. Masaru is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Masaru connects with a body shot that sends Landa's belly button to the back. Landa is looking to clinch. Landa is looking to clinch but Masaru is avoiding it.
Landa throws a jab but it's blocked by Masaru. Masaru scores with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Masaru throws a lazy head kick and Landa holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A left hand lands to the body for Landa.
Landa tries to throw a body punch but Masaru avoids it by throwing Landa back against the cage. Masaru manages to break the clinch.
Landa scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Landa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Masaru. Landa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Masaru manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masaru throws a left and a right that both miss
and Landa moves into the clinch. Masaru working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Landa stalls. Landa has Masaru pressed against the cage, preventing Masaru from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Landa jumps guard but Masaru turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Masaru lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Landa backwards. Landa tries a body shot but Masaru blocks it.
Masaru has had enough of the clinch but Landa keeps him there for the moment. Landa misses with a punch on the inside.
Landa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Masaru's efforts to push away. Masaru lands a shoulder strike. Landa throws a knee to the head but misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Landa is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Masaru pulls him back up using the underhooks. Masaru throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Landas head. Masaru is trying to break the clinch but Landa has him pressed against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Masaru pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Landa looks to land a left hand but Masaru moved out of range nicely. Masaru misses the jab. Masaru throws a body kick that misses. Masaru swings away with a leg kick that misses. Landa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This has been an exciting period of action! Masaru lands a nice hook to Landa's body. Landa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Masaru misses with an uppercut. Landa saw that one coming. Masaru lands a jab to the head.
Landa is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Masaru moves out of range of the leg kick from Landa. Oh Landa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tadashi Masaru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Masaru throws a pinpoint strike between Landa's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Landa crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Masaru scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tadashi Masaru! Tadashi Masaru retains his lightweight title! A victorious Tadashi Masaru thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
