Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Funk Sinatra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zain Hussain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Funk Sinatra has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sinatra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hussain somewhat.
Sinatra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hussain clinches with his opponent.
Sinatra is looking to break free of the clinch but Hussain has double underhooks.
Sinatra lands a nice uppercut.
Sinatra tries to break free but Hussain pushes him back against the cage.
Hussain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hussain is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Hussain breaks from the clinch.
Hussain looks for a takedown but Sinatra sprawls well.
Funk Sinatra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zain Hussain.

Zain Hussain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hussain misses with a low kick.
Sinatra looks to score with a jab to the body but Hussain is just out of range.

Hussain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sinatra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hussain moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hussain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sinatra is fending him off so far but Hussain persists. Nope, Sinatra circles away and we're back to standing.
Hussain misses the body punch
and Hussain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sinatra swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Hussain counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Hussain jumps guard and drags Sinatra to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Sinatra trying to control the position from guard on top but Hussain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hussain is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hussain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sinatra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sinatra wants to control from the top but Hussain keeps moving.
Sinatra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hussain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hussain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sinatra is one step ahead there.

Sinatra drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sinatra jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hussain pulls Sinatra in to control the position.
Sinatra wants to control from the top but Hussain keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sinatra throws a good cross that connects.

Sinatra throws a nice looking combination but Hussain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sinatra cracks a nice hook into Hussain's ribs.

Hussain has managed to clinch.
Hussain misses with an elbow over the top.
Sinatra is trying to break free.
Hussain tries to pull guard but Sinatra holds him up against the cage and eventually Hussain drops back down to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Funk Sinatra will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hussain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hussain is looking to take this one to the mat.

Sinatra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sinatra throws a right hand that Hussain ducks under and follows up with a left that Hussain also avoids with ease.
Sinatra looks to land a combination. Hussain sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Sinatra's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sinatra duly obliges.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hussain shoots for a double leg takedown but Sinatra sprawls well. He's pushed Hussain's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sinatra scores with a one two! Hussain had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Sinatra has hold of Hussain's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hussain seems comfortable defending it but Sinatra has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hussain is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hussain is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sinatra couldn't care less - he's delighted!
