Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eusebio Prague (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eusebio Prague! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Desmond Rhodes! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prague shoots in for a takedown but Rhodes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rhodes has taken the fight to the clinch.
Prague is trying to break free. Prague tries to circle away but Rhodes has him pinned against the cage. Rhodes manages to pull guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Prague trying to control the position from guard on top but Rhodes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Prague stopping the sweep attempt from Rhodes. Rhodes keeping moving, preventing Prague from controlling successfully. Rhodes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Prague's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Prague throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rhodes postures up in Prague's guard and throws a big left but Prague blocks it. Prague throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rhodes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rhodes trying to control the position from guard on top but Prague is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rhodes is fighting to break Prague's control of his arms but Prague is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Prague manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rhodes is working to get back to half guard.
Prague controlling from mount. Prague throwing strikes here but Rhodes is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Rhodes can't escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Prague is trying to control. Rhodes wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rhodes wants to get back to his feet. Prague prevents Rhodes from improving his position. Rhodes blocking the ground and pound attempt from Prague. Prague trying to pass the guard but Rhodes defending well. Prague is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rhodes has managed to free his arm - good work. Rhodes wants to sweep but Prague has passed to side control! Prague stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prague misses with a wild body shot. Prague misses with a takedown and Rhodes counters with a single leg into guard. Prague didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Prague lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rhodes! Rhodes is desperately trying to improve his position but Prague has a good base and remains in mount. Rhodes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prague. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rhodes looks gassed! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Prague trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rhodes wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Prague.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Eusebio Prague will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rhodes avoids the head kick by Prague.
Rhodes throws a head kick that misses. Rhodes tries to clinch there but Prague circles away.
Rhodes closes the distance and lands a one-two. Rhodes gets a clinch. Rhodes lands a knee to the body.
Rhodes stops a takedown attempt from Prague.
Rhodes jumps guard but Prague turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Rhodes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Prague is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rhodes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Prague shoots in for a takedown and gets it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rhodes is refusing to be controlled, as Prague sits in half guard.

Rhodes tries to roll over but Prague keeps him under control. Rhodes is staying active underneath Prague, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Eusebio Prague has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Prague is looking to clinch. Rhodes looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Prague! Rhodes tries to control but Prague wriggling away. Rhodes is breathing heavily. Prague can't escape the position.

Prague is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Rhodes is in the full mount, landing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rhodes throwing strikes but Prague bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Prague stopping the sweep attempt from Rhodes. Prague with a flurry of punches that miss. Rhodes wants to improve his position but instead Prague has moved into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Prague is keen to just control but Rhodes is a slippery customer. Rhodes punching from the bottom.

The fight stays on the outside here - Prague looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Prague connects with an inside leg kick. Rhodes throws a hook but Prague blocks it. Prague shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rhodes pinned against the cage. Rhodes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rhodes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Prague sprawls well initially but Rhodes persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Prague controlling the position well. Prague trying to hold on to Rhodes's head to control him but Rhodes postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rhodes has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Prague works to full guard. Prague has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rhodes has passed into side control.
Rhodes working the ground and pound. Rhodes tries to advance to mount but can't. Rhodes decides to stand back up. Rhodes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Prague looks for a takedown but Rhodes sprawls well. A head kick by Rhodes misses and Prague counters by clinching up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rhodes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Prague just stands there and leans against the cage. Prague dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Prague wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rhodes has him pressed against the cage. Rhodes lands a takedown into guard.
Rhodes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rhodes is looking to advance position but Prague has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Prague thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Prague looking to ground and pound but Rhodes is blocking nicely. Prague can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rhodes is looking to escape. Rhodes really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prague wants to control the pace but Rhodes is squirming around nicely. Prague looking to finish with strikes here!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Prague throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Prague is looking to control Rhodes but Rhodes is wriggling around and keeping busy. Eusebio Prague overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. What can Rhodes do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Rhodes covering up well and avoiding damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Prague has got one arm under Rhodes's chin. This could be trouble... Rhodes trying to control the other hand but Prague gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Rhodes has tapped out! The fight is over!
