Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Disturbed- Indestructible . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cole Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mauricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua looks to clinch
and Lee counters with a stiff right hand.
Rua shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lee throws a hook but Rua avoids it easily.
Rua scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The fighters circling - Rua throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rua throws a chopping leg kick but Lee manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Rua swings for the body but Lee moves out of range.
Rua tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Rua.
Lee jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A slow jab from Lee misses its intended target.
Lee lands a jab to the head.
Rua drives through with a takedown into Lee's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rua throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lee wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Rua is now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rua is working away from the top position though.
Rua has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lee is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Lee is trying is best to control the position here.
Lee is looking for a sweep. Rua is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rua looks to land a strike but Lee avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Rua is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control.
Lee keeping moving, preventing Rua from controlling successfully.
Rua trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Rua trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rua tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rua looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range.
Rua moves into the clinch.
Rua tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Rua working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Lee tries to break the clinch but Rua is controlling the position.
Rua drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lee pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rua ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lee moves away.

Rua with a flurry of punches that miss.

Lee is trying to hold Rua in close to prevent damage but Rua has managed to pass into half guard.
Rua lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Lee wants to get back to his feet.
Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lee avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rua.
Rua thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rua sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though.
Rua looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mauricio Rua dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rua.

Rua goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Lee tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rua is able to avoid easily.
Rua thows a body shot but no joy.
Rua wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.
Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rua throws out the jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rua.
Rua has his takedown stuffed
and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rua gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lee doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Rua breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lee throws a hook but Rua avoids it easily.
Lee tries to work over Rua's front leg with a kick but Rua checks it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rua slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Lee swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Rua looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rua ducks under a wild hook from Lee.
Rua scores with a shot to the body.
Rua misses with a looping right.
Lee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rua uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee.
Rua scores with a spinning back kick!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Rua - that will leave a mark!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rua works the jab nicely.
Rua fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Rua lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rua tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Rua.
Rua lands a jab-cross combination.
Rua moves into the clinch.
Rua pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rua scores with a hook to the body. Lee takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lee takes one to the side of the head.
Lee tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rua throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rua throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lee crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rua - the referee stops the clock and Lee gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rua. Lee manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Rua lands a high kick to the side of Lee's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Rua dives into guard, looking to finish.
Lee is rocked!
It looks like Cole Lee has been cut.
Rua postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Lee covers up, he's hurt! Rua keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Rua and the ref steps in to end the fight! Rua can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mauricio Rua!
An out of breath Mauricio Rua thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
