Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergio Velazquez !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Huerta!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta throws a push kick but Velazquez slaps the foot to one side.
Velazquez fails to land with a series of punches.
A nice combination there by Velazquez .
It looks like Max Huerta has been cut.
Velazquez cracks Huerta with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Huerta looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Velazquez finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Huerta gets a clinch.
Huerta lands an elbow just above Velazquez 's eye.
It looks like Sergio Velazquez has been cut.
A body shot lands from Velazquez .
Velazquez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Velazquez is trying to break the clinch but Huerta is controlling him.
Velazquez blocks a body shot from Huerta.
Huerta throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Velazquez blocks it with crossed arms.
Huerta has Velazquez pressed against the cage, preventing Velazquez from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Velazquez is looking to break free of the clinch but Huerta has double underhooks.
Velazquez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Huerta fails to land with a series of punches.
Velazquez thows a body shot but no joy.
Velazquez with a nice cross.
That has opened up Max Huerta's cut even more.
Velazquez lands a big right hand that sends Huerta crashing to the mat! Velazquez stays standing though and waves Huerta back to his feet!
Huerta is rocked!
The cut above Max Huerta's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Velazquez darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Huerta's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Velazquez before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sergio Velazquez !
An out of breath Sergio Velazquez thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
